Junior Artists is a creative art program designed for students in grades 3–4 who are ready to explore art in greater depth and develop their own artistic voice. Through drawing, painting, color theory, composition, and mixed-media projects, students strengthen their foundational art skills while discovering new ways to turn their ideas and observations into original artwork.

Classes meet once a week for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Each session introduces engaging projects that encourage students to experiment with different materials, practice new techniques, and explore the creative process from beginning to end. As they develop their technical skills and artistic confidence, students learn to make thoughtful creative choices, solve visual problems, and express their individuality through art.

We love sharing each child’s creative journey with their family! After every class, parents receive an email featuring a photo of their child’s artwork and a short summary of the skills, techniques, and concepts they explored.

  • YESUL HOUSE offers art programs for young artists from TK and Kindergarten through upper elementary and middle school. Each program is thoughtfully designed to meet students' developmental needs, interests, and creative abilities.

  • Not at all! Our classes welcome beginners as well as children who already love to draw and paint. We encourage every child to explore, experiment, and develop their own artistic voice at their own pace.

  • Students explore drawing, painting, color theory, composition, and a variety of art materials and techniques. Through engaging projects and hands-on activities, children build creative confidence, observation skills, problem-solving abilities, and self-expression while discovering their own unique artistic style.

  • Each class is limited to 6–8 students, allowing us to provide more personalized guidance and create a supportive environment where every young artist has the space to explore, learn, and express their creativity.

  • Yes, class availability is limited to help us maintain a focused, supportive learning environment where each child has room to explore and create. We encourage families to inquire about current openings and find a class that fits their young artist.

  • Yes! All the art materials needed for in-class projects are provided, so your child can focus on exploring, experimenting, and creating. From drawing tools and paints to a variety of exciting materials, we provide what young artists need to bring their ideas to life.
