Young Artists is a hands-on art program designed for students in grades 1–2, where growing imaginations meet new artistic possibilities. Through drawing, painting, color theory, and mixed-media exploration, students develop their artistic skills while learning to observe the world around them, experiment with new techniques, and bring their own ideas to life.

Classes meet once a week for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Each session features a thoughtfully designed art project that encourages creative thinking, problem-solving, and self-expression. Students build confidence as they explore different materials, learn foundational art techniques, and discover their own unique creative styles in a supportive environment.

We love sharing each child’s creative journey with their family! After every class, parents receive an email featuring a photo of their child’s artwork and a short summary of the skills, techniques, and concepts they explored.

  • YESUL HOUSE offers art programs for young artists from TK and Kindergarten through upper elementary and middle school. Each program is thoughtfully designed to meet students' developmental needs, interests, and creative abilities.

  • Not at all! Our classes welcome beginners as well as children who already love to draw and paint. We encourage every child to explore, experiment, and develop their own artistic voice at their own pace.

  • Students explore drawing, painting, color theory, composition, and a variety of art materials and techniques. Through engaging projects and hands-on activities, children build creative confidence, observation skills, problem-solving abilities, and self-expression while discovering their own unique artistic style.

  • Each class is limited to 6–8 students, allowing us to provide more personalized guidance and create a supportive environment where every young artist has the space to explore, learn, and express their creativity.

  • Yes, class availability is limited to help us maintain a focused, supportive learning environment where each child has room to explore and create. We encourage families to inquire about current openings and find a class that fits their young artist.

  • Yes! All the art materials needed for in-class projects are provided, so your child can focus on exploring, experimenting, and creating. From drawing tools and paints to a variety of exciting materials, we provide what young artists need to bring their ideas to life.
